Op- en afwaarts de Bospoortbrug werden portieken geplaatst over het kanaal.
De vrije hoogte is hierdoor beperkt tot 4.70 m. Schippers dienen aandacht te
bestedigen dat rechstaand personeel op de buitendekken geen gevaar loopt bij
onderdoorvaart van deze portieken.
